About the Competition

The Last Trader Standing competition is coming to UWI. 

Do you have what it takes? Last Trader Standing, UWI Edition challenges students to strategize, compete and outlast every opponent. Only one walks away on top. 

 

The rules are as follows:

  • Interested persons are asked to complete the registration form below. (Registration Period: May 11-15, 2026).
  • Once you receive confirmation from us by email, you may begin trading. (Trading Period: May 20-June 19, 2026).
  • One trading profile per participant.
  • At the end of each week, the top ten (10) ranking traders will be highlighted via our LinkedIn page.
  • The five (5) traders with the greatest portfolio value (virtual dollars) at the end of the one month period, will move on to the final round.
  • Finalists will be required to present an analysis on the stock of a selected company, give a recommendation on what action should be taken and explain their basis for the decision
