Disclosure of our Business Continuity Plan, to you, our valued clients

At JAMAICA MONEY MARKET BROKERS LIMITED ("JMMB"; which collectively refers to the - JMMB Group of companies), we recognize how heavily our clients rely on our services and by extension our internal support systems. We also recognize that the unexpected can and does occur – from simple disruptions to catastrophes. Accordingly, JMMB dedicates significant resources to our Business Continuity and Contingency Plan ("BCCP") and Disaster Recovery Programme ("DRP"), components of which are tested periodically to ensure effectiveness and compliance with the Jamaica Stock Exchange Rules and Financial Services Commission.

Our multifaceted approach contained in our BCCP and DRP are intended to enable us to protect our important resources so that our obligations to you, our clients and shareholders, are met effectively and in a timely manner. The plan includes the protection of our Information Technology Systems; the continued provision of Client Care Representatives to attend to your JMMB-related needs; the advanced preparation of transactions, such as Standing Orders for the days of the expected interruption, among other provisions geared to ensure that you suffer minimal dislocation.

It must be noted, however, that our plan is not foolproof - since natural disasters and disruptions, by their very nature, do not lend themselves to the anticipation of each scenario which may arise. However, we at JMMB have taken firm steps to plan and periodically test same to effect all necessary changes in our bid of continually improving on our BCCP and DRP. JMMB has no control over the various entities that we must rely upon in the event of a true emergency.

The information contained in this disclosure is provided by JMMB for educational purposes only. Accordingly, nothing contained in this document shall be construed to amend, supplement or otherwise modify any of the terms and conditions set forth in any client agreement between you and JMMB.

This disclosure of our Business Continuity and Contingency Plan to you, our valued clients, is approved by the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
